Separation - You have to make it so that the cats are isolate for a while if they are fighting. They need somewhere to seep at night but also need a place where they can sleep. Try getting them 2 sleeping baskets that you isolate over the room from each other or one of those cat houses where they have tiny rooms on top of each other. Feed them with dissimilar bowls etc. Often these things clear themselves up but you just have to wait and be persistent.
Reward Good Behaviour - You have to let the cats know that they are doing the right thing by not fighting. When you see them getting on better, put out some treats for them and put them in one pile so they have to co-operate. Other great idea is to train your cats so they come to be disciplined and less wild. This saved me lots of time in stained carpets.
