During our daily walks with my dog we always pass a house with a chocolate Labrador on the front yard. He is there every single day, tied up with a long rope attached to a railing. He is always sitting or lying down and when we approach, he gets up to greet us; his tail wagging. He always appears happy to see us. He doesn't seem to be harmed in any way but he is always alone. Day after day, he is out in the gated yard. We have passed him at dissimilar times and he is always the same, tied up and fed up. He doesn't even bark at all, he just looks at us with these big brown eyes. He looks so sad. If he could talk he would for real tell us he is lonely and wants some attention.
The dog's owners are probably busy people. They have full-time jobs, a house to keep and all the demands that life throws at us. This is the way contemporary life is, however it is foremost that to make time for our dog, which can be for real incorporated into our everyday life.

· Let him come along with you, if you are driving to the shops, collecting the children from their friends or their school. He will love this time to see the face world from your vehicle or even better, when walking with him where he can get his nose, eyes and ears engaged in the world beyond his yard. This will give your dog the stimulation and social amelioration he needs.
· Let your dog sleep within sight and sound of your bedroom. Your dog does not need to be in your bedroom or for real on your bed but let your dog will feel that he is not excluded. Best of all, you will rest easy knowing he is within easy reach to protect you.
· When you are establishment meals and your dog is in the kitchen, talk to him and tell him he is a good boy for staying calm and in his designated place. Bonus him with a treat or verbal praise. This small gesture from you will help him feel part of the family.
· Do some training with him and teach him some tricks - let him show you how clever he can be! Give him a supply of toys that will stimulate him for example rubber toys filled with treats, which will keep him amused and stop him from being bored.
· When you are watching Tv, let him sit with you and take the time to stroke and cuddle him, this will help you to relax too. It has been proven that Pet owners are more relaxed and less stressed when they have dogs or cats.
Every dog needs exercise, discipline and affection every day. They crave affection and human contact. A minuscule understanding by you will meet his needs without disrupting your usual busy daily routine.
It is foremost for your dog's condition & well being that you take some time to think of his needs after all he is a member of your family.
